정의
턱시도(Tuxedo)는 마티니가 들어간 칵테일의 종류 중 하나이다.
유래
마티니는 1880 년대에 처음 등장한 이후로 많은 변형이 있있다. 턱시도는 그 중 하나로, Jersey City 밖에 있는 Tuxedo Club의 이름을 따서 만들어졌다. 이 클럽이 위치한 도시인 Tuxedo Park는 Lenape와 tucseto에서 파생되었다. 같은 시기, 같은 컨트리 클럽에서 같은 이름의 남성복의 형태가 생겼다.[1]
조주법
재료
- 3 cl gin (Old Tom)
- 3 cl dry Vermouth
- 1/2 barspoon Maraschino
- 1/4 barspoon Absinthe
- 3 dashes orange bitters
조주법
- 모든 재료를 얼음과 함께 젓는다. 칵테일 글래스에 부은 뒤 레몬 트위스트와 체리를 장식한다.
