The Gaeseong merchant of the Goryeo Dynasty traded with different foreign countries through Byeongnando. It is also called 'Yeseong Port' and government officers were also hosted in the Byeongnando.[1]

Especially, Gaeseong was one of the highest traded product. Gaeseong has historically seen the cultivation of Gaeseong on the Korean peninsula since the Three Kingdoms era. Advantage of Location
Byeokran-do is the entrance to Gaegyeong, the capital of Goryeo. It is also easy to trade and is connected to the sea route because it is located at the mouth of Yeseonggang River. The depth of the water allowed even a large ship to come and go.
